Accepting gift with grace

Gift is a part of life/society. Sometimes we give wedding gift, birthday, anniversary and other types of gift. Other time we receive them.
I love receiving gift. For my wedding I receive quite a number of gift some of it are the same item. Thank you friends. Some are very useful and only a few that been rarely used.
Frankly speaking some of it a still in the box. Although I cherish all my gift some of it I will give to others. “Recycle Gift” is a harsh word for me it is still a gift to remember.
Recently I have been wondering if I receive too much gift from people around me. My brothers, parent, friends etc. My other half whispering in my ears are they pity me, do they think I do not have money to buy it, do they want something from me in return.
The day that I was thinking about these abundant gift I receive more gift. A friend treat me for lunch, receive belated gift from attending wedding. As I wonder all the gift I receive. All I can say that. All the gift a receive with no string attach. All I can do is ACCEPT THE GIFT WITH GRACE. Sometime people just want to give, giving something to someone without hoping anything in return will make them happy.

AFF 2010 – Malaysia football at its highest peak. Although we lost the battle in Bung Karno Stadium 2-1 but we won the WAR. Congratulations to our boys and supporters. Its truly Malaysia.

Congratulation Malaysia “Harimau Malaya” for a very entertaining game and the important thing of all winning by 3 goals to nil. I don’t know who is the man of the match but for me it is Norsharul Izlan Tahala.
Never the less all the team and play their heart and soul for our country Malaysia. Support from Malaysian is overwhelming. It been so long that we can see a full crowd and celebration in out national stadium.

Choice we made on ASB Dividend payout

My mind race wildly on what to do with ASB dividend and bonus 2010. Each of us with different objective and goals it’s surely something that we are looking foward to do.
First and foremost do things that make you happy and importantly do not require new debt. As for me I just wonder weather I want to pre-pay my home loan or reinvest in ASB. Both have its own benefit. I’m not sure now but hopefully it will be either one.
How about you. What do you want to do with your ASB 2010 dividend and bonus.

As I watched the news on TV3 at 8pm the highlights is annoucement of Dividend and Bonus ASB.

Smile everyone the dividend is more than BLR 6.30% for 2010. For those making ASB loan surely very excited and makes plan. I think we can withdraw ASB after its resume operation after 3 january 2011. Advice to all of you and I included. Spend wisely and make plan for your future.
Financial freedom begins now. Seek balance and knowledge for yourself and family.

Hopefully the performance chart given will be beneficial in choosing your investment. Personally I want to see the dividen given is higher than BLR for that particular year. This is if you are making ASB loan. As for bonus I still very confusing for me to calculate. I will update the table when dividend and bonus is announce in early of january 2011. End of year 2010. My eyes ponders upon ASB dividen and bonus. Currently all transactions for ASB and ASN is suspended. transaction will resume on 3 January 2011 and I will be waiting the announcement.

Joy and despair of BONUS and Salary Increment

End of year 2010. Many company will give bonus, salary adjustment and increment and I must admit some company still struggle to survive. As for me our CEO had annouce it will be 5% increase of salary and unfortunately no bonus. hemmm.
Joy for salary increase and despair for bonus.
In life there a 2 side of a coin. One is that favours us and one in agaist us and very rarely that the coin will stand on its side.
I complained and whine about my misfortune for a week. That it, all my complain and whining will get me nowwhere in my career. Rather than focusing my misfortune in lack of BONUS I looking foward to increase my salary with knowledge and attitude. 5% salary increment will improve my hourly rate for overtime.
Positive thinking surely will get me ahead rather that dwelling on my misfortune.
